The course will be open to walk from 2pm – 6pm on 26th September 2009.Ø
There will be an optimum time over the whole course in all classes. Ø

All riders will be issued with a number bib and you will ride in number order.
Please report to the steward 15 minutes before you are due to start. Class times are shown on the schedule.
·The organisers reserve the right to close entries before the date stated in the schedule if classes are full.
· Hard hats (no fixed peaks, body protectors (BSI standard) and your own medical armbands MUST be worn.
· Disclaimer of liability: Neither the organisers, owners of the land, nor any person acting on their behalf, accept any responsibility for any loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, competitors, spectators or any person or property whatsoever while on the showground or while entering or leaving the showground. Each competitor shall be responsible for any loss, injury or damage that may be done to or occasioned by, or arising from any animal, article or property, exhibited or brought into the showground by him and shall indemnify and hold harmless the Matfield and District Riders’ Association, persons acting on their behalf and the owners of the land from and against all actions, suits, expenses and claims on account of or in respect of any such damage or injury which may be caused or occasioned.
· Health and Safety: The organisers have taken reasonable precautions including a comprehensive risk assessment to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards. Any person seen riding in an irresponsible manner, or in a way which is detrimental to the interest of the landowner or dangerous to others, will be asked to leave the showground
.· After 3 refusals at one jump you must move on to the next fence.
· The decisions of the Judges and Stewards are final. Any objection must be lodged with the Show Secretary within 15 minutes of the cause or the results being published accompanied by a deposit of £15, which will be forfeited if overruled.
· No horse or pony may compete more than once in a class or in more than two classes.
· All horses and ponies must be 4 years-old or over.
· No refund will be given unless a Medical or Veterinary certificate is produced.
·In the event of cancellation entry fees will be refunded, other than a deduction of an amount of £2.50 per competitor to cover the costs, on receipt by entries secretary
·In the event of insufficient entries the organisers reserve the right to adjust the prize money
.·A £5 returnable deposit will be charged for each competitor number bib, please bring exact money – NO CHANGE GIVEN!
